avenue runs along the urban beaches of Maceió, which are
Jatiúca, Ponta Verde, Pajuçara and Sete Coqueiros,
one leading onto the other.
There
many food and drink stalls along the wide sidewalk, as well as
restaurants and bars, where live music is played. Pratagy,
Guaxuma, Ipioca and Riacho Doce beaches are a little farther
away. In order to see the old colonial buildings, around which
the city first developed, take a walk in Jaraguá and
downtown.
